Treatment Services

Resolution psychology provide treatment from short term intervention through to long-term therapy. We work with NDIS participants and are an approved provider for Medicare Australia. Resolution psychology specialise in the treatment of a range of mental health disorders and related issues, including:

We draw on a range of evidence based treatment approaches, primarily including:

  • Motivational interviewing (MI)
  • Eye movement desensitisation reprocessing therapy (EMDR)
  • Behavioural modification

Clinical and Neurocognitive Assessments

We provide a range of assessment services dependent on the presenting difficulties. These include:

  • ADHD assessments
  • Learning disorder assessments for children and young persons, who may be experiencing difficulty at school
  • Cognitive assessments including intellectual, memory and executive functioning of individuals across the lifespan
  • Personality assessment
  • Behavioural and diagnostic assessments

Legal and Forensic Services

Our legal and forensic services include:

  • Parenting capacity and child and family assessment reports
  • Diagnostic assessments and pre-sentencing reports
  • Fitness to plead assessments
  • Personality and cognitive assessments
  • Offender risk/needs analysis
  • Assessment and opinion for the likelihood of reoffending
  • Therapeutic treatment to address criminogenic factors

Professional Supervision

Resolution Psychology is endorsed to provide Psychology Board approved:

  • Principal and Secondary supervision
  • Supervision for the Internship 4+2 pathway
  • Supervision for the Internship 5 + 1 pathway
  • Supervision for Clinical Registrar program
