Daniel Troy

Daniel Troy is passionate about supporting people, whether to improve their mental health, realise their potential, or to overcome the effects of adverse life events. Daniel is a Clinical Psychologist, who has worked in a wide range of clinical and forensic settings, including:

  • Inpatient psychiatric units
  • Mental health rehabilitation
  • Prison settings
  • Community mental health centres
  • Child protection
  • Schools
  • Private practice

Daniel Troy works with individuals, whose mental health issues vary from mild to acute severity and he has a passion for therapy and assessment. He also has expertise in organisational psychology and has held senior strategic workforce positions within ACT Mental Health.

Mary Silk

Mary Silk is committed to supporting people who struggle with periods of mental instability, are dealing with challenging life events, or are keen to improve lifestyle behaviours. Mary is a registered General Psychologist who has worked with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings including

  • Acute inpatient psychiatric units
  • Mental health rehabilitation
  • Providing behaviour support for community based and group home clients (for people with an intellectual disability).
  • Addiction support centre (Drug and Alcohol)
  • Homelessness sector

Mary has extensive experience in the management of a broad range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, adjustment disorders, severe mental illness including psychosis, providing behaviour management plans for children in the home and working with people with personality disorders. Mary has a keen interest in complex trauma. Mary provides evidence based psychological therapies to assist individuals to reach their treatment goals. Her approach to treatment is inspired by the belief that everyone has the capacity to improve aspects of their life and working together can realise those abilities and potential.
